Our primary focus is to improve access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. Through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, we aim to provide individuals with the tools and support they need to lead better lives, fostering growth and hope in the communities we serve.

Our core areas of interest

The Ravi Sikka Memorial Foundation is focused on three critical pillars to drive impactful change:

  • Healthcare Support: Improving community well-being by providing essential healthcare services, medical camps, and physical and mental health resources.
  • Economic Empowerment: Creating sustainable livelihoods by supporting small businesses and vocational training, helping individuals become self-reliant and financially stable.

OUR INITIATIVES FOR CHANGE

COORDINATED HEALTHCARE MODEL

Objective

To promote and monitor adolescent health and mental well-being in schools by partnering with AddressHealth. This initiative offers a holistic health model focusing on screening, preventive dentistry, weekly iron supplements, and secondary care coordination to support a healthy body and mind.

Beneficiaries

This program reaches over 2 lakh children across 400 schools in India, providing comprehensive healthcare support. Beneficiaries include adolescents who gain access to routine health checkups, essential treatments, and preventive care resources.

Impact

  • 2 lakh children receive annual health screenings.
  • 400 schools benefit from emergency health and mental well-being support.
  • 100,000+ iron supplements provided, improving adolescent health.

WHEELCHAIR MOBILITY & ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Objective

This project empowers physically challenged individuals to live with dignity and financial freedom by supporting mobility and economic independence for differently abled individuals through wheelchair distribution and small business setups.

Beneficiaries

The Indian Spinal Injuries Centre partnered with the foundation to identify recipients for wheelchairs. The project also provides resources to help individuals who use wheelchairs, especially women, establish beauty parlors and other small businesses.

Impact

  • Over 30 wheelchairs have been distributed to date
  • 10+ women supported to start their micro-businesses.
  • Increased self-reliance and financial stability for physically challenged beneficiaries.

SELF-DEFENSE & SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR WOMEN

Objective

To empower young women by providing self-defense training and skill-building opportunities, particularly for those from vulnerable communities. This project helps instill confidence and prepares women to safeguard themselves and pursue their aspirations.

Beneficiaries

Young women and girls in underprivileged communities benefit from these self-defense sessions. The training offers essential life skills and safety measures, building resilience and independence.

Impact

  • 100+ women trained in self-defense skills.
  • Monthly sessions on empowerment and safety for ongoing impact.
  • Collaborations with local instructors and experts to expand reach.

EDUCATION & CAREER SUPPORT FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH

Objective

To bridge educational gaps for underprivileged youth by providing resources, counseling, and scholarships for higher education, especially for girls aspiring to join fields like engineering and management.

Beneficiaries

Through mentorship and financial support, students from low-income backgrounds, particularly girls, receive access to coaching for competitive exams, laptops, and essentials for academic success.

Impact

  • 50+ students supported for advanced education.
  • 5 students were provided with devices like laptops for remote learning.
  • Improved educational outcomes for underserved youth.
